Meet the amazing and dedicated George Hall Elementary School wellness team! Students can reach out to their counselors for questions, guidance, and support.
School psychologists may provide support and consultation to teachers and parents of students experiencing learning and/or behavior problems. Students with an Individual Education Program who exhibit the need for a higher level of care may be recommended to receive Educationally-Related Mental Health Services. | Amy Vang | Hello SMFCSD community. My name is Amy Vang, and I serve as the school counselor for George Hall Elementary. I received my Master's in Counseling from California State University, Fresno. My goal is to teach all students social and emotional skills and tools they need to be successful in and outside the classroom and to become the best version of themselves. I provide support for students through wellness check-ins, individualized and group counseling, lunch time activities, restorative practices, provide community resources to families, support teachers through the district’s adopted SEL curriculum, Second Step, and being a member of the schools CARE team. | avang@smfc.k12.ca.us |
