About

WELCOME to George Hall, An Inclusive Community Dedicated to Success for ALL Students!

We have 23 classes this year, including five Special Day Classes. George Hall serves a diverse student population and we offer a wide range of programs from preschool - fifth grade.  We are excited to offer Transitional Kindergarten for children turning five-years-old September 2 through February 2.

We have an active, caring group of parent and community volunteers through our PTA, who  are focused on providing art instruction, technology for classrooms and engaging, updated classroom libraries, so all children can read at their instructional level on a daily basis.

Our culture and climate are inclusive and engaging, making George Hall a warm, joyful place to learn and grow. The benefits of inclusion are numerous, not only for children with special needs and their families, but for all children. When we include all children in our programs, they learn acceptance of other people, and that each person has unique abilities. Children learn from each other. With inclusion in place, children with special needs are provided equal opportunity to participate in the same types of programs and activities as children without special needs. Some of the benefits of inclusion for children with (or without) disabilities are friendship skills, peer models, problem solving skills, positive self-image, and respect for others.
